01 · Acceptance
Using moki means accepting these terms
moki (usemoki.com) is an idea-triage tool run by the team behind it (“moki,” “we,” “us”). By using the website or app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use moki.
You need to be able to form a binding agreement to use moki. If you're using it for a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.
02 · The service
A scored opinion, not advice or a promise
moki scores a product idea and returns a make / hold / kill call, a weakest factor, a fatal-flaw read, and a suggested next experiment. To do this, it uses AI / large language model (LLM) providers to analyze your idea and a search-data provider to read live demand.
moki is decision support — a reasoned second opinion. It is not professional, financial, legal, or investment advice, and a verdict is not a guarantee that an idea will succeed or fail. The call is yours; the outcomes are yours.
03 · Your account
Keep your account yours
Some features need an account. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in runs through it. Tell us at hello [at] usemoki.com if you think someone else has gotten in.
04 · Credits, payments & refunds
How credits and refunds work
Some features run on credits, which you can buy in packs. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number. A credit is spent when it does its work — running an audit or unlocking a report.
Unused credits are refundable, no questions asked.If you'd like a refund on credits you haven't spent, email hello [at] usemoki.com and we'll return them.
Credits you've already spent are generally non-refundable, since the work has been done. If you believe your particular situation warrants more, you can write to us at the same address.
05 · Your ideas & content
You own your ideas. We can't make them exclusively yours.
The ideas and content you submit stay yours. To run an audit, you grant us permission to process that content and to share it with the providers needed to deliver the service — AI / LLM providersthat analyze the idea, a search-data provider, and our cloud hosting and database. We don't sell your ideas. How this data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
By submitting an idea to moki, you acknowledge and accept the following:
No exclusivity, priority, or ownership
We can protect your idea inside moki, but we cannot make an idea exclusively yours. The same or a similar idea can independently occur to other people — including people who have never used moki — and any of them may build and ship it before you do.
That is the nature of ideas, not a breach of this policy. We have no control over it, and we make no promise, guarantee, or claim of exclusivity, priority, or ownership over any idea you enter.
06 · Third-party services
The providers behind moki
moki depends on third-party providers to work. They act on our instructions, but their own terms and policies also apply to the parts they handle.
- AI / LLM providers — your idea is shared with them to analyze and score it.
- A search-data provider — to read live search demand for your idea.
- Stripe — to process payments.
- Google Analytics — for usage analytics (see the next section).
- Supabase — cloud hosting and database, where your account and ideas are stored.
07 · Data & analytics
Where your data lives, and how we measure usage
Your account and ideas are stored in Supabase data centers — in Europe where possible.
When you use moki, Google Analytics records your activity — whether or not you accept the cookie banner. Accept it and standard analytics apply; decline or ignore it and we fall back to a cookieless, anonymized mode, but we still measure usage in aggregate. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
08 · Acceptable use
Use moki in good faith
When using moki, please don't:
- break the law, or submit content that is illegal or infringes someone's rights;
- try to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service;
- resell or abuse credits, or attempt to bypass payment;
- use moki in a way that harms other users or us.
We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service.
09 · Disclaimers
Provided “as is”
moki is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that a verdict is correct, that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that acting on a result will lead to any particular outcome. You're responsible for your own decisions.
10 · Limitation of liability
The limits of what we're liable for
To the fullest extent permitted by law, moki is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or the outcome of any idea or decision. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded under applicable law.
11 · Changes & contact
If these terms change
We may update these terms or the service as moki evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date; continuing to use moki after that means you accept the updated terms. Questions? Email hello [at] usemoki.com.
